Meet Your Writer
A bestselling independent ghostwriter with 15+ years of experience across fiction and non-fiction — working one on one, with no team, no agency, and no AI standing between you and the page.
In the summer after my fifth grade year, every Sunday morning, my father would open up the paper and circle all of the garage sales we would hit once he finished his coffee. We were never looking for anything in particular. We simply enjoyed browsing the discarded artifacts of other people's lives. One day, I came across an antique typewriter that must have weighed half my body weight. They were only asking $5, so I laid out my crumpled money and took it home. I spent the rest of that summer clacking away on that old type writer. I wrote a story about a young girl who found a way to time travel through the use of her typewriter (wishful thinking I guess).
I hold a B.A. in English Literature and Education and an M.S. in Library and Information Science. I spent many years teaching writing before becoming a full-time ghostwriter. For 15+ years, I've worked independently, never part of a big faceless company, across memoir, romance, literary fiction, science fiction, self-help, business, and medicine, with clients ranging from first-time authors to professional athletes and politicians.
My published work spans romance, literary fiction, science fiction, memoir, self-help, business, and medicine — with research reaching into subjects as varied as cardiology, ecology, technology, and wellness. My fiction has found both critical and commercial success; my non-fiction has helped clients from physicians to entrepreneurs put their expertise on the page.
Choosing a ghostwriter to capture your voice is a personal decision. Every project gets my full, undivided attention — because it's always me, from the first conversation to the finished book.
"This book is coming along exactly the way I envisioned. I want to thank Amber for making this into a reality. She is awesome to work with!"
